5                   OUR CONTENT IS GENERAL INFORMATION ONLY

(b)               You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.

8                   OUR LIABILITY TO YOU

8.1               Rights we do not exclude

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any breach of your legal rights as a consumer, including your right to receive services which are provided with reasonable care and skill.

8.2               Limits on our liability

(a)               As our Website is intended for your personal, non-commercial use only, to the extent permitted by law we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

(b)               Subject to clause 8.1, we are not liable for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if either it is obvious that it will happen or if, at the time these terms were formed, both we and you knew it might happen.

8.3               Content and materials from our Website

We do not guarantee that our Website will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your technology and platforms to access our Website, and you should use your own virus protection software.

9                   HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.beyond-the-classroom-door.com/terms-conditions-1. Please take the time to read that policy, as it explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

10                GENERAL

10.1            If we do not enforce our rights

If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you in respect of your breaking these terms, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

10.2            If a court finds part of these terms unlawful

Each of the paragraphs of these terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

10.3            Transferring these terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under these terms.

10.4            Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by the law of England and Wales. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a resident of Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your home nation.

These terms were last updated on 9 September 2026.
